Lastly, I’m so disappointed this happened because I will never feel comfortable eating there ever again. Hopefully other customers did not have as bad of ordeal as my mother and I. Overall, this experience completely ruined my vacation with my family in California because I’ve been afraid to eat anything besides crackers, bread, and popcorn since I left the hotel. I hate to admit it, but I’m still in the process of recovering from this incident 5 days later and it appears to not be easing up anytime soon. I’m now lead to believe that this is not entirely true because my 86 years old mother also had horrible food poisoning symptoms to the point where I was ready to take her to the emergency room. The next morning I spoke to a representative from the restaurant who was empathetic towards my situation and she stated that I was the only person to complain. This is when I came to the conclusion that one of the dishes on the buffet had given me food poisoning.
